Walking on Sunshine

Steven Galloway – The Cellist of Sarajevo (R)

I didn’t expect to enjoy this book nearly as much as I did.  Mr Galloway paints us a picture of Sarajevo during the siege of the 1990s.  We see the city through the eyes of three very different people each of whom gives a subtly different perspective.  The result is an incredibly atospheric book which really made me think about war and how it effects ordinary people.
